Annual General Meeting 2026

Saturday 13th June 2026, hosted by the Marches District.

The Marches District is looking forward to welcoming Ladies Guild members to the AGM on Saturday 13 of June 2026.  For members who will be travelling to the area the day before we have arranged a couple of events on the Friday which we hope you will enjoy.  Any non-ringers with you are very welcome to join us for the service and meals.

Outline for Friday 12 June

• An opportunity to ring a quarter peal or two in the afternoon or have a general ring if quarters aren’t your thing and we have sufficient interest.  The closing date for registering to ring quarter peals is 18 April but please let us know if you would like to join in some general ringing somewhere.  Email: MarchesLadiesGuild@hotmail.com

• Social event: Fri 12th June Pub meal – 7.00 pm The Corners Inn, Kingsland (HR6 9YR) – Meals will be preordered so if you decide to come at the last minute, please contact The Corners with your meal choice

Outline for Saturday 13 June

There will be 6 open towers on Saturday morning, time for lunch and a ring in Leominster then one tower before going to Kingsland for the final ringing before the service.

Open towers:

• 9:00 – 10:00 Ledbury and Bromfield

• 10:15 – 11:15 Colwall and Stanton Lacy

• 11:30 – 12:30 Bromyard and Eye

• Lunch Leominster tower and mini ring

• 14:00 – 14:45 Eardisland

• 15:00 Kingsland

• 16:00 Service Kingsland

• 17:00 AGM Coronation Hall, Kingsland, HR6 9SQ, followed by Tea

There are several eateries in and around Leominster or you can bring a packed lunch.  During the lunch time Leominster tower will be available for ringing and there will also be a visiting Mini ring.

If you want to ring on Friday or Sunday the Hereford Diocesan Guild of Bell Ringers website is a good source of information (HDGB.ORG), there is a contact and ringing times for each tower – it is worth making contact to ensure that they are actually ringing that day.  Lots of our churches share clergy and don’t have a service every week.
